Kitchen ventilation

During cooking, grilling, and frying, aerosols with particle sizes of less than 1 micrometer are generated. These aerosols cause unpleasant odors and can penetrate deep into the human lungs, potentially leading to health issues.

It is therefore essential to remove these substances from the kitchen workspace and ensure safe, neutral exhaust air. During the cooking process and the heating of fats and oils, hydrolysis, pyrolysis, and oxidation generate substances such as glycerin, free fatty acids, aldehydes, ketones, polymeric triglycerides, nitrosamines, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, some of which are classified as hazardous to human health.

The kitchen exhaust air unit has been developed to clean kitchen exhaust air and neutralize odors before the air is discharged into the environment.

To effectively filter the wide range of aerosols and decomposition products, the unit is equipped with multiple filtration stages. The product range includes 11 standard unit sizes with airflow capacities from 1,000 to 40,000 m³/h.
